Since the circumstances of my previous hunting opportunity took a rather unfavorable turn, I didn’t renew the earlier agreement for 2025.
With the help of Dénes, the appointed gamekeeper / game manager who worked hard on the previous grounds, I managed to secure hunting rights on another area right near my current accommodation.
This switch turned out far better than I’d expected beforehand.
Today, after scouting the new area, I mounted and firmly secured my Summit Viper Pro stand, along with the climbing steps, on a suitable alder at the best spot.
After a bit of clearing work, the dense brush covering the area below the stand opened up an excellent view of the feeder itself and the salt tray placed at the far end of it.
Of course, the usual cameras also went up.
One is watching the feeder, while the other looks out over a nearby, extremely promising wallow.
