There’s nothing in this photo but an empty feeder.
However,
– On the one hand, even empty, it’s dear to me, because I’m the only one who hunts at this feeder
– On the other hand, thanks to the unusual light conditions, a photo this dark in broad daylight is a rare thing.
This coming weekend I’m planning to do some landscaping work here.
The wild cherry tree cut down for a clear line of sight will be used to cross the stream.
The current camera is moving elsewhere too.
I’ll also try to clear the sightline and the approach path to the stand facing it ( the one with a thicker branch reaching out and bending down to the right ),
All while trying to leave as little trace of the human hand on the ecology as possible.
