"Our hardworking people will prevail."
Today’s program:
IcuServer solar power supply to maximize the runtime of the Zeiss Secacam 7 camera.
Tank refill, terrain tidying, corn concealment, sugar-beet and alfalfa pellet trial run.
I’m very curious which bio-feed the forest game will like best.
The winching finally goes routinely.
I’ve found the pulley that works best for the task, the steel carabiners, the most optimal way to attach the pulley, and the ideal placement of the winch.
All this while making sure to protect the trees involved in the operation with wide, cambium-friendly straps.
What’s more, during tank refilling, a simple three-meter anchoring rope also turned out to be the solution against the tank spinning.
Today I tried three different pulley solutions as well.
The simplest is a Soft Shackle and a rigging ring — perfect.
The medium-serious one is a Singing Rock pulley secured with a Kong twist-lock, bayonet-gate steel carabiner.
And the most serious solution is a DMM Impact Block pulley. — Well, that’s really like using the Schwerer Gustav to take down a sparrow (Passer domesticus).
